The West Portal Merchants Association and GWPNA have already written letters to Nancy Tung (with the District Attorney’s office) asking that the violent attacker be held in custody while his case proceeds, rather than releasing him back to the public as is normally done.

You can read the GWPNA letter here: 2023.09.28 – Letter to Nancy Tung re Shaws Assault.pdf

If you are inclined to draft a similar letter, the Merchants Association created this sample letter for your convenience. Send to nancy.tung@sfgov.org
